Welcome to the DIMR App (Adult Version), a product of APPe Nik Inc. By accessing or using the DIMR App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully. If you disagree, you may not use our DIMR app.

1. Overview of the DIMR App

The DIMR App (Adult Version) is designed to help users build family trees, preserve family heritage, and store multimedia content. It includes features for parents, schools, and institutions and complies with Google Play’s Data Safety requirements. This version is exclusively for adults. A separate children’s version of the app will be released later.

2. User Accounts

Users must create an account using either an email address or phone number.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
Accounts are for personal use only and may not be shared or transferred.

5. Donations: Onetime payment

We welcome donations to support the DIMR App. Your support means the world to us! Donations are completely voluntary and not required to use the app. Every contribution helps us continue developing new features, providing quality content, and ensuring the best experience for our users. Whether or not you choose to donate, you can still enjoy all the benefits of our Brass Package and Our announcement section of our app. If you’d like to support our mission, we truly appreciate it, but most importantly, we’re happy to have you as part of our community!

6. Blogs and Public Announcements

Users can publish blog entries at $3.97 per blog entry.
Announcements in the News, Sponsor, and Donate sections are public and visible to all users.
Sponsors may use the Sponsor Section to promote scholarships, discounts, or family programs.

7. Payments and Refunds

Payment Policies

All payments are processed securely through third-party providers such as Google Pay and Revenue Cat.
DIMR does not store credit card information.

Refund Policy

Refunds for in-app purchases must be requested within 48 hours of the transaction through Google Play.
- Steps to Request a Refund:
  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. Tap on your profile icon and select “Payments & subscriptions.”
  3. Navigate to “Budget & Order History.”
  4. Select the order and tap “Request a refund” or “Report a problem.”
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Refund requests after 48 hours should be directed to APPe Nik Inc. via support@appenik.com. Refund approvals are subject to our discretion.
Sponsorships and donations are non-refundable.

8. Data Collection and Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, use, share and protect your data.

Key Highlights:

Mandatory Data: Names, relationships, date of birth, and contact details.
Optional Data: Photos, videos, audio recordings, hobbies, and personal notes.
Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Data Retention: Users may delete their accounts and data by contacting support@appenik.com.

8b. Data Sharing with Third Parties

For the optimal performance and functionality of our App, we may share your personal information with trusted third parties, including service providers, partners, and affiliates. This sharing is strictly limited to data necessary for delivering and enhancing our services, such as processing transactions, managing user accounts, performing analytics, and providing technical support. All third parties we work with are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information, and they use your data solely for the purposes defined by us. We do not sell or rent your information for marketing purposes, and all data sharing is conducted in compliance with applicable laws and our internal privacy practices.

By using the DIMR App, you agree to:

Provide accurate information when creating your family tree.
Use the app for lawful purposes only.
Keep your account credentials confidential and secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

APPe Nik Inc. is not responsible for:

Loss of data due to user error or failure to back up information.
Third-party services or disruptions in payment processing.
Content posted by other users in public sections of the app.

12. Currency and Payment Disclaimer

All prices listed within the DIMR App are displayed in United States Dollars (USD). When you make a purchase, your payment will be processed in your local currency based on the exchange rate determined by your payment provider (Google Pay, Apple Pay, or Stripe) at the time of the transaction. The final amount you pay may vary due to currency conversion rates, international transaction fees, and other charges imposed by your financial institution. APPe Nik Inc. has no control over exchange rates or additional fees applied by third-party payment processors or banks. We recommend checking with your payment provider for details regarding conversion rates and any applicable fees before completing your purchase.

13. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in unauthorized activities.

14. Updates to Terms of Service

We may update these Terms of Service to reflect our practices or feature changes. Users will be notified of updates through in-app announcements or on our website.
